Wirehaired Pointing Griffon:

The wirehaired pointing griffon is an intelligent medium-sized hunting breed. It is known as the "ultimate gun dog". A griffon excels equally as a pointer in the field or a retriever in the water, making it useful for versatile game. A griffon is a strong dog with endurance to match and is bred to cover all terrain encountered by the walking hunter.

Its outgoing personality makes it a wonderful family pet. The griff's easy trainability, devotion to family, and friendly temperment endear him to all.

The Butte View Kennel name is AKC registered for this breed. We show in AKC conformation competition and hunt all of our griffs in natural habitat as well as at clubs. This leads us to also compete in AKC hunting competitions. We are members of the American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Association, a national parent club that is devoted to the improvement of the breed.
